Another post I forgot to submit earlier on in June- sorry guys!

So it’s been yet another mega busy week with work, which has meant the blog hasn’t really been updated recently- sorry guys, gotta earn the dollar dollar to pay the mortgage! I’d love to just sit and blog all day- may be one day!

What’s been happening this week?! Well, not much…..only one thing and that’s CHIME FOR CHANGE!

Chime for Change was a TOTALLY AWESOME charity concert held at Twickenham Stadium on Satuday 1st June 2013.

Who was there?

Me! -OBVIOUSLY! My husband Rav and his two cousins Aman & Anika

Beyonce

J-Lo (we saw Casper who sat literally less than a few metres away from us), John Legend,  Florence, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, Iggy Azalea, Timbaland, Mary J Blige, Ashwariya & Abhishek Bachaan (you gotta get excited for the Indians!), James Franco (drool), Ryan Renolds (droooool), Blake Lively (droooooooool hot mama! she’s got A M A Z I N G  legs!) and some others.

The weather?

Bloody amazing! For once the sun was blazing, the skies were clear, even into the night it was still warm, managed to walk around London at midnight with just a top, shirt and jeans on- NO JUMPERS/COATS/HOODIES/HATS/SCARVES/GLOVES.

Highlights?

1. Listening to Queen B (and then Jay-Z coming out rapping to Crazy in Love!)

2. Dancing with Rav to John Legend singing ‘Ordinary People’ live- we’re not really a ‘romantic’ couple, more like best mates who continuously take the piss out of each other, but this was really a romantic moment that I will always cherish

heart melt moment

3. Spending a Saturday drinking Pimms, enjoying the beautiful weather with the family, listening to some awesome musicians whilst supporting a charity that empowers women and demonstrates that females should be given the same right to an education as a male- this was priceless!

C4C family time

4. The crowd around us during the concert, on one side were 2 middle ages Australian ladies who were very drunk but hilarious and full of life! Behind us were a group of girls probably our age- one of them got to hug Beyonce’s dancers (you know – LES TWINS), this lady actually broke down when she met one of the twins, I’ve never seen someone so overwhelmed before!

5. Mary J Blige duetting with J-Lo- we weren’t expecting you Mary!-Mary J Blige’s voice- WOW is all I can say!

I’ve got to thank Anika-Rav’s awesome cousin for getting the tickets. Our hopes of seeing Beyonce this year were smashed to pieces when the systems kept crashing when we all tried to buy tickets for her tour.

At Chime for Change, we had great seats and it was amazing being reunited with Queen B again and it’s all because Anika made it happen- so THANKYOU!!!

The hangover, the sore feet and extremely hoarse voice aftermath were completely worth it! xx
